Trash

Dont buy this phone you cannot store any of your apps on the SD card so if most of your memory is used up by apps there is no way to move them over to the SD card to free up space. This phone is straight trash

Bought it yesterday already hate it

StarGazerChick 8/20/2020

I was so excited when I saw there was a Phoenix 5. Ive had the Phoenix 3 and 4 and LOVED them I bought this Phoenix 5 yesterday and I already hate it. You cant dismiss service and system notifications after they are read. Why lock in a notification about not removing the battery when you LITERALLY CANNOT REMOVE THE BATTERY from this phone? I AM THE ONE who turned off mobile data why lock in that notification? Dumb stuff like that needs to be able to be dismissed so important notifications like phone calls and text messages can be seen on the lock screen. I have notifications turned off for my lock screen because I cant see anything new due to the system/service messages not being able to be dismissed. Its stupid. NEVER in the many years that I have been using LG phones have I had to be connected to the internet or data in order to use talk to text. I cannot use talk to text unless Im connected to Wi-Fi with this phone. This Phoenix 5 replaced an LG Neon and I didnt have to be connected to internet to use the talk to text with that phone so why do I have to be connected to internet with this one to use it? RIDICULOUS The Phoenix 3 and 4 were far better models than the 5 is. There are all kinds of tiny but noticable differences that are definitely NOT for the better. Like text messages have a word limit. This isnt Twitter. Im about to give up LG phones all together. I only had my last one the Neon for eight weeks before it malfunctioned and deleted EVERY SINGLE PICTURE off of my SD card as well as some phone numbers from the phone storage and after that happened it would just randomly restart freeze up and became more of a hassle to use than a phone should be. I used that phone for a total of four months and Im not likely to use this one for much longer than that. LG just doesnt seem to understand what the greatest points of the Phoenix series were. There are only two good things about this phone. Its a little smaller in size than most smartphones but the screen viewing size is the same. So maybe not two things. That is the only redeeming thing about this phone.

Not that great

Craftymom 8/14/2020

My husband bought one for each of us a couple weeks ago and we both dont like them. Hate the Google assistant button Constantly hitting it trying to change volume. Loaded with a bunch of garbage we never use and cant delete. And apps cant be moved to memory card I put a glass screen protector on mine and it doesnt register finger taps half the time. When making a call the screen immediately goes black and doesnt want to come back on Bad design The phoenix 4 was better but they quit charging so we got these pieces of garbage

deviangil 7/11/2020

Great battery life and lovely display. Lacks the ability to place apps on sd card to free up space. Also memory card will suddenly eject. But I am very satisfied with the phone.
