First I bought this LG TV at Costco because among the choices it had an excellent price. We have been watching the TV for approximately one month. We love the picture most apparent when watching football games and movies like Avatar. Sound is excellent and the 3-year warranty is a plus. While the remote is easy to use the one feature I am not a fan of is the wheel function that is all too easy to activate the floating target - which is hard to aim. Lots of APPs but not some of the ones I want most which means I need to get them from Prime. These are modest concerns and as I use the TV and remote more both are easier to use.

I bought this tv 2 weeks ago its still going strong. Overall the tv quality especially for playing games is really great I absolutely love the 4K view age of everything it looks really nice. The tv is also really loud but silent at the same time for instance you can have it at a loud volume but even outside my room thats not soundproof and my brother usually complains its really good. My brother hasnt complained once so I really love this purchase and everything that is comes with.

Sleep timer doesnt function

Picture is great. Price was good. Biggest frustration is the sleep timer. The first model I purchased had a different menu system and it was really hard to get to the sleep timer. Why the manufacturer eliminated the sleep timer button from the remote is beyond me. I worked in marketing for one of the largest consumer electronics companies and this feature was always at the top of the list with any customer surveys or focus groups Spent a bit of time with LG customer support. They were unable to make it work so they suggested that I just turn on the auto off feature that will ensure the TV turns off every night at the same time. This was their only solution. Obviously its a software glitch that can be upgraded with their operating system if that ever happens. This TV is in my adult daughters bedroom who is disabled. She likes the TV on for a specific amount of time so depending on when we go to bed it can stay on for a long time or a very short time. Not really a good solution/workaround for a faulty programming glitch.

I bought this LG 50BECASE THE LG I had the back lights kept showing up annoying so we took it apart and glued them back but two or three did not stay so we ordered new 55 light strip know when we took it apart again to put lights in screen cracked do to taking it apart again first time was a charm this time not so lucky so we returned them and that is why I bought this TV takes time setting up has internet and many options to choose I like it.

I bought the TV yesterday just set it up. The Good: - Interface is responsive The Bad: -Viewing angles are horrible washed out if not right in front of TV. -Worst remote I have ever used. It would be going back but my wife says its good enough for her craft room its only for background noise when crafting. Its also for her game cube and nintendo where she is right in front of it.

Now at the 6 week mark in my relationship with this 2023 LG50UR8000AUA. The picture is Excellent if you are sitting with a straight on viewing angle. If you deviate 20 degrees from this angle the colors are washed out to the point of making the set unwatchable. I continue to play with the settings to compensate for this issue but I can fix this issue.

I have had this model for about a month. It was easy to set up and looks good. My only complaint was that the box says it has a 3-year warranty but I cant find any source that confirms this. I bought it at Costco and they tried to sell me a Costco warranty for 3 years but admitted that this should be a LG warranty.

Not as smart as they say. I can not download my MLB-Major league Baseball app to watch games. For some reason can only get apps that they have an agreement with. That info came from a technician. Very frustrating that you cant just go to an App Store and download what you want.
