Welcome to our website! As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at 812-367-1591 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

About Uebelhor TV

Misson

Having been in business for over 65 years, servicing what we sell will always be the staple of Uebelhor TV. Building lasting relationships with our customers has allowed us to serve the area for many years, with many more to come.

While the name says “TV”, we are much more offering electronic solutions for every space in the home. Specializing in delivering content into customers’ homes, antennas, satellite systems and the Internet are just a few of the areas that we offer. In addition, Uebelhor TV offers commercial sound systems for churches, community buildings, gymnasiums and many more facilities.

History

Jim Uebelhor was a radio operator and technician and served in the US Army, earning his discharge in 1954. Jim and Laverne (Welp) married in 1954. Laverne worked at GE in Tell City and Jim worked at Bartley’s Store with his Father. In 1954, they started Uebelhor TV in the basement of their home.

The business was built on service of televisions and radios, as well as, installing off-air antennas to receive local television channels. They renovated their garage to house a showroom and once they outgrew that space, a new building was constructed at 1445 Main St which is where Uebelhor TV stands today. In 1985, the entire building was doubled in size as their sons, Scott and Keith came into the business. Scott and Keith bought into the business and became the owners in 1992.
